2nd Tooth!

I hope everyone is having a relaxing Memorial Day weekend!  A few days ago my 2nd tooth finally popped up.  It is on the bottom front, right next to the first one.  I was just a little cranky, but mom says not too bad :)  We have had a busy weekend with lots of bbq's and I got to go in a pool for the first time!  I loved the pool, but not when mommy dunks me under :(  She only did it once and hopefully the last time.

10 Months Old!!!

Hi!  I am 10 months old today!!  My mommy and daddy just cannot believe how fast I am growing up.  My aunt Brooke from NY came down to visit us and she will be staying with us for a few days.  We are going to have lots of fun while she is here.  I think I heard her and mommy talking about shopping, yay! :)

At 10 months old:
 - I walk along furniture and with my walker toy
 - I am getting so much better at walking forward in my walker
 - I clap and wave
 - I can give high-fives
 - Still love to take baths, but not sure if I enjoy getting my hair rinsed anymore
 - I can climb out of my walker now, so keep an eye on me!
 - I say "daddy", "ma ma", "up", "hi", "hey", Uh oh", and mommy thinks she has heard "all done" :o
 - I only drink from a sippy cup now, no more bottles!
 - Still take two naps a day but sometimes can get away with one if it is a busy day
 - I have one tooth on the bottom and the one next to it will be here any day!
 - I love to give kisses and they are usually wet ones :)

Hi there!

10 months old today :)

Chincoteague, VA

Last week my daddy was on vacation and we all went to Chincoteague, VA for the day.  We had such a great time!  I get to see pony's and pet them, and I also went to the beach for the first time and put my feet in the sand & ocean.  It was very cool!
Later that night I started saying "ma ma" and I now say it often.  Mommy was hoping I would say it on Mother's Day but I was a few days late :)  I also say "up", give high-fives, and clap all the time.  My mommy wanted to let everyone know that she had a wonderful first Mother's Day :)

First tooth and 9 month check-up

I got my first tooth Friday night!!  I am so excited!  It is nice and sharp and pearly white :)  Mommy took me to the pediatrician today for my 9 month check-up.  I am doing really well, I weigh exactly 20lbs. and I am in the 67th  percentile in weight.  I do have some problems with chunky foods and different textured foods, they feel so weird to me.  My Dr. said I may just grow out of it soon.  No shots today, yay!  But, I do need to get some blood work done to check for anemia (standard 9 month blood work), so I think mommy is taking tomorrow to do that. :(

Clapping

The other day I started clapping!  Mommy has been teaching me this for a while now and I finally got it :)  I clap all the time now, especially when I am in my highchair.  This week cousin Macy and Adella were off from school so they came to visit and we had fun playing.
Oh, and I almost forgot I say "mom" and "ma" now when I am really upset :(

HAPPY EASTER!!

I hope everyone had a very happy Easter on Sunday!  I had a great day!  The Easter bunny came to my house and left me a nice basket full of stuff.  Mommy and daddy also gave me a really nice card and a big toy so I can learn how to walk and ride.
After church we all went to mom-mom's and grandfathers for lunch where I got even more stuff!

9 months old!!

I am 9 months old today!!  I am getting super big and super active :)  Yesterday mommy and daddy took me to get my pictures taken then we went out to lunch.  Today daddy told me the Easter Bunny was going to bring me a present on Sunday, I cant wait!

At 9 months old:
 - I say "da da", "daddy", and "da eee" ALL the time
 - I pull myself up to a standing position on just about anything
 - I am walking along furniture now
 - I can wave to people
 - I walk forward in my walker sometimes
 - I hate to have my diaper or clothes changed
 - I still love to take baths and I am now in the big girl bath tub
 - I am the fastest crawler my mom has ever seen :)
 - I still love my jenny jump up but prefer to just be on the floor exploring
 - I still take two naps a day about 1 - 1 1/2 hours each
 - I cannot stand chunky food or foods that have a weird texture
 - I love to play with my dog Abby and pull on her ears and tail
