Daddy/Daughter Date Night :)

On Monday March 5th my Daddy and I went to Chick-fil-a for daddy/daughter night.  It was so nice, the restaurant had flowers on the table with very pretty table cloths.  Afterwards I got to play in the game room!
Mr. Matt and my friend Laurel also went and they sat with us, we had a great time.

This past week mommy, me, and Abby went up to NY for a visit.  We got to celebrate grandpa and Aunt Brooke's birthday while we were there, and also got to see cousin Lauren in a karate tournament.

Today mommy and I went to Maryland to visit Miss Corrine.  I had tons of fun playing with all of Elena's and Ian's toys!

I told mommy for the first time today....."no night nights" on the way home from Miss Corrine's house. :)

19 Months!

Wednesday I turned 19 months old!!  I am talking in mores sentences every day :)  I am also working on going down the big stairs by myself.  Right now I turn backwards and slide down, but this morning I held onto the railing and with mommy's encouragement I walked down.
When mommy and daddy ask me who the first president was, I say "Washington", then when they ask the president is now I say "Obama". :)
Tomorrow mommy, Abby, and I leave for NY for a visit.  Going to be cold, BBRRRRR!

At 19 months old:

 - I talk in sentences but sometimes only mommy & daddy can understand me :)
 - I still love to take a bath
 - My favorite veggie is peas
 - I can sign tons of words and all of my colors
 - I can count to 10 even though I skip 5 because I think it is funny
 - I have only gone on the big girl potty once at 18 months old
 - Still working on drinking from a big girl cup
 - I tell mommy and daddy when I am wet or poopy
 - I love the game peek a boo
 - I sing to my songs in the car
 - I wear 18-24month clothing and a 5.5 shoe
 - At my last Dr. visit on 2/9, I weighed 24lbs. 8 oz. and I am 33.5" tall

19 months old today!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hi everyone!  Gosh it seems like it has been forever since I have been on here!  I hope everyone has a very nice Valentine's Day :)  Today my buddy Zach came over to play with me, we have had lots of fun.

A few weeks ago I went potty in the big girl potty!!  I know it seems way early, but my mommy said I am showing all of the signs with potty training, so mommy and daddy got out my new potty seat.  A few days later I went potty!  I was a little surprised though because as I was going my potty started playing music and it scared me:(  Mommy and daddy told me this was going to happen but geez!  Since then mommy asks me if I want to go sit on the big girl potty and I say "NOPE".

Next week I will be 19 months old and I just can't get over how fast time is flying by!

18 Months!!

I am a year and a half old already!!  I actually turned 18 months on Sunday the 22nd, but I have just been so busy I have not had time to post :)  I had a great Christmas and New Year with my family, and now I look forward to Valentines Day!!

At 18 months:
 - I am still working on drinking from a big girl cup
 - I am wearing mostly 18-24months now with a few things that are stil 12-18 months
 - I repeat absolutely everything anybody says!  I can also say big word such as "humidifier" and "temperature"
 - I still watch my signing time videos and love them!
 - I do not watch Baby Einstein that much anymore
 - I eat 3 big meals a day with some snacks in between sometimes.  I drink whole milk a lot and some water.  I do a great job with my veggies too!
 - I still love to take a bath but not so much waching of the hair :(
 - Instead of saying "no" like most kids my age, I like to say "nope" and all the time
 - I take one nap a day at around 1pm for about 2 hours
 - I got a kitchen set for Christmas and love to play with all of the food and set my little table
 - I like to go up the steps by myself but still need help from mommy and daddy when it is time to come down.
 - I also can get up on the furniture now by myself and down by myself too :)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Sorry this is so late!  I have been super busy playing with all of my new toys and visiting family over the holidays.  My Christmas was super exciting, Christmas Eve I got to see Santa at my Aunt Angela & Uncle Jim's house then mommy and daddy took me to church.  Christmas morning I woke up to a new kitchen set and lots of toys!!  Later that day I went to mom-mom's & grandfather's for dinner and opened even more gifts :)
On the 27th we went up to NY to visit my mom's side of the family and I had a great time playing with all of my cousins.  Next week I will be 18 months old :)

17 Months!!

I turned 17 months old today and I am just a ball of fire!! :)  The "N-O" word is coming out of my mouth like crazy and mommy and daddy are not to happy about it. :(  They try to encourage me to say "yes" but I just like to say "no". 

At 17 months old:
 - Everyone says my vocabulary is amazing!  I sign and say many words and sentences like "may I be excused?"
 - I weigh 23lbs and wear 12-18mos. clothing
 - I do not like sitting rear facing in my car seat because my legs are cramped, so daddy might turn it around soon.
 - I still love to take baths
 - Every time I see anything with Mickey Mouse or Dora I scream with excitement
 - Lately I have been having a very hard time going down for a nap and to bed
 - I am the 2nd oldest in my nursery class at church and enjoy playing with all of the "babies"
 - I like to walk up and down the steps with only little help from mommy and daddy, I sometimes get upset when they carry me
 - I love to play with crayons, not necessarily color, but putting them in and out of the box
 - I still drink out of a sippy cup and still need to work on a big girl cup
 - I eat just about all table food and love anything that has cheese on it :)
 - I learned who the 1st president was the other day and can say "Washington" when mommy & daddy asks
 - I have 11 teeth now and 2 of them are brand new molars
 - I am brushing my own teeth with a little help from mommy, but I do a great job!
