22 Months Old!

On Tuesday May 22, I turned 22 months old!  Mommy and I, and Abby were all on our way to NY that day so I did not get a chance to post.  We had a great time up there visiting family and friends.  We went to the glass fest on Market St., watched my cousins' softball games, and I got to see some fireworks again!  We also went swimming at grandma and grandpa's pool but the water was pretty cold :)

At 22 months:

 - I can sing the entire alphabet but I leave out the letter "J", I think daddy feels offended :)
 - I am drinking from a big girl cup on occasion and doing very well with it.
 - I speak very well and can have entire conversations with people!
 - I am already in the 2 year old class at church and doing very well
 - My new phrase when eating is "I don't like it"
 - I still love to say the word "no" all the time and mommy cannot wait until I find a different word!
 - I am still taking one nap a day around 1-1:30pm for about 1-2 hours
 - I can sign almost everything and still love to watch Signing Time daily
 - I can count to 12 and still love to leave off number 5 for some reason??
 - I wear 24 months clothing, size 6 shoe, and size 4 diaper.
 - I have not gone in the big girl potty in awhile and every time mommy asks me I tell her "no!"

Happy Mother's Day :)

This past Sunday was Mother's Day and my mommy had a wonderful day!  She said every day should be Mother's Day :)  First we had a fun filled weekend with cousins Macy & Adella staying with us, Friday night we all went to "Messy Night" where I got to paint, play in water, sand, bubbles, you name it!!  Saturday Mommy took us girls to the beach and I had a blast!  I kept telling mommy I wanted to go swimming in the water but when she took me down to the water I wouldn't even put my toes in!  Mommy said not to worry because the water was cold anyways :)  Saturday night we went to see the Shorebirds play again and I got to see Sherman the bird!  I was so excited and gave him another high-five and pound it.  After the game we saw fireworks and I loved them.
Sunday we went to church then out to lunch with mom-mom and grandfather.  I also started in the 2 year old class at church on Sunday and loved it!  The nursery was getting a little boring to me so mommy and daddy moved me up to the big girl class.  This coming Tuesday mommy, Abby, and I are going to New York to visit family, I can't wait!

Play Ball!

Last night mommy & daddy took me to see the Shorebirds baseball game in Salisbury, MD.  We went with our church and had an awesome time!  I got to see Sherman the bird and he gave me a hi-five.  I have been learning all about sports recently with my Signing Time videos so I was familiar with baseball and when we pulled into the stadium I yelled "play ball!" :)

21 Months!!

Hi everyone!  I turned 21 months old on Sunday :)  I can't believe how big I am getting and so fast.  Unfortunately over the last few weeks I have not been feeling well with colds, sinus infections, and more colds.  Please pray that I get better very soon!  Mommy & daddy say they are looking forward to warm weather and it staying that way so we can all feel better.
This past weekend I got to play with my cousins Macy and Adella.  We all went to the beach and got to fly my kite.  It was super windy so we could not stay very long.  Mommy forgot to charge the battery for the camera so we didn't get to take any pics at the beach :(

At 21 months:
 - I pick up new words every day and speak very well in sentences
 - I count to 10 but still drop off the 5 because I think it is funny
 - I still love to take baths
 - I can say the alphabet with the help of mommy & daddy.  But once I get to "Q" watch out because I know the rest by myself!
 - Mommy asks me if I want to go in the big girl potty and I say "NO"
 - I can put on my own socks and most of the time my jacket all by myself
 - I am starting to drink out of a big girl cup on occasion
 - I eat really well, and now love it when daddy puts ice in my milk :)
 - I help mommy with laundry by putting the dirty clothes in the washer for her
 - I put my sippy cup in the sink when I am done
 - I currently love the song "Moon" by the Laurie Berkner Band and always ask mommy & daddy to play it in the car
 - My favorite book is my bible stories and I enjoy reading about Noah who built an ark

Happy Easter!

Or should I say "happy eacher bunny!" This is how I say it :)  I had a great Easter and I hope all of you did as well.  Friday before Easter mommy and daddy colored Easter eggs with me, that was lots of fun!  Then on Saturday mommy and daddy took me to an egg hunt where I found lots of eggs and got to see the Easter bunny!  Well, I really was not too thrilled to see him so daddy stood next to him while holding me:)  Sunday we went to church and then got to go see Uncle Ty & Aunt Carol who are visiting from Michigan.  They have two doggies and I like playing with them.
Next Sunday I will be 21 months old and I also get to go to my friend Elena's 3rd birthday party!

20 Months!!

Last Thursday I turned 20 months old!!  I can't believe I will be 2 years old in just a few more months :)  Today mommy took me to go get my Easter pictures done, and I was a very good girl.  This past week I have been playing outside on my swing set and hanging out with my cousins Macy & Adella.  Next week mommy and I are going to NY to visit family.

At 20 months:

 - I still love to take baths and I do a great job of tilting my head back so mommy & daddy can rinse my hair.
 - I speak very well and even come up with sentences on my own now like "I love bacon" :)
 - I love to read books while in the car and even talk out loud like I am really reading.
 - I still take a nap for about 2 hours at around 1:30pm.
 - I wear size 19-24 months clothes and 5 1/2 shoe.
 - I LOVE to play with Mr. Potato head, carry my purses and baby dolls around, and read books.
 - I will try any foods and like just about all of them.
 - I am still not drinking from a big girl cup, I tried it a few times and choked on some water so I am scared to try it again.
 - I am walking down our stairs now with very little help from mommy & daddy.
 - I love to play hide and seek, I am a good counter but not hider :)
 - I can count to 10 but skip 5 because I think it is funny.
 - I say my ABC's and the letters I don't know I just hum them until I get to a letter I do know.
